What I Believe
Healing, growth, and transformation is likely to feel more akin to an archeological dig, than an implementation of something new or foreign. These revitalizing forces rely on rediscovery and then fostering and cultivating intently.

My Prime Understanding
"Knowledge organizes energy and energy organizes matter" - unknown
-
The degree to which we are aware of what is shaping how we show up in the world is the degree we are able to shift those beliefs and subsequently how we feel and how our lives unfold.
-
By understanding our psychology, our physiology and our history and employing somatic tools to shift our experience, we become capable of directing the movements of our life

How I Work
We are shaped through relationship.
Many of the ways we learn to protect ourselves were developed within relationships. Those same patterns often appear in therapy, where together we can understand them with curiosity rather than judgment and begin creating new experiences.
Mind and body are constantly influencing one another.
Our emotions are not simply thoughts—they are lived through our nervous system, posture, breathing, movement, and physiology. Alongside psychotherapy, I often incorporate movement-based practices to help create change that is not only understood intellectually but experienced physically.
Our past lives in the present.
The beliefs we carry about ourselves and the world often began as creative adaptations to earlier experiences. What once protected us may now leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck. Therapy helps illuminate these patterns so they no longer have to quietly direct your life.
Symptoms have something to teach us.
Rather than viewing anxiety, depression, shame, or even addiction as enemies to eliminate, I see them as meaningful expressions that deserve careful attention. Together we explore what they may be asking of you and how they might become catalysts for growth rather than obstacles to overcome.
Change requires both insight and action.
Understanding yourself is important. Living differently is what creates transformation. Whether through new ways of relating, mindfulness, movement, or intentional daily practices, therapy becomes a place to experiment with living in greater alignment with who you want to become.
You are the expert on your own life.
My role isn’t to tell you who you should become. It’s to help you discover what already feels deeply true, remove the obstacles standing in the way, and walk alongside you as you build a life you feel genuinely excited to live.
